The Old Brewery

June 03, 2017

Pork and sage sausage, buttered mash, crispy onion rings, on a pale ale gravy. And a chicken breast sandwich were all we needed to make it to the next round of plated offerings. That onion ring tho!

They said the Guinness here in Canada is brewed by Labatt, so this was our chance to try the real deal. The stuff brewed in St. James Gate Brewery in Dublin. Sadly a bit underwhelming. Maybe we were expecting too much. Maybe we are so spoilt with the craft beers we usually have her in the Pacific Northwest ... don't get me wrong ... this is good stuff!

Posted the photo of the dessert menu to leave to your imagination ;)

Fortunately the Old Brewery is really just spitting distance of the University of Greenwich where Michelle is enrolled in.
